  • Welcome to "The Gumbo" artist showcase and open mic. We are open to all types of artists and we look forward to your participation in our newest event.

  • Our Showcase is from 7:00 - 10:00 PM

  • Sign ups are available at the door and without an early reservation, we will fill in what ever open slots we have first come, first served.

    Please get there early to get a great seat!

  • Stage Time is a total of 7 Minutes

  • Your total stage time is 7 minutes. Please do not go over this time limit.

  • General Admission:

  • General Admission is $5.00 and Tickets are Non-Refundable.

  • Please Arrive:

  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled hour and be ready to go.

  • What happens if I am Late?

  • With so many performers attending our nights fill up quickly...therefore, If you miss your time slot we will have to shift someone up to fill your slot and you will have to wait for the next available opening...so please don't be late.

  • Attention: Performers

    You must be able to confirm at least two guests.

  • We are only able to confirm performers with a time slot based on a $10 dollar ticket guarantee.   Tickets are $5.00 each and must be guaranteed in order to receive a confirmed time slot.

    Performers unable to bring in two guest and still wanting to perform at the Gumbo will be asked to pay for their time slot at a cost of $10.00 total.

  • Our method of payment is cash at the door.  

  • "Must be" at least 21

  • All performers must be at least 21 to take our stage. Whether you are performing alone or with a group.

  • Our Gumbo showcases are one of the best in NYC offering an extensive variety of performers.  Therefore, our lineup is created with that in mind so we don't end up with two or three of the same types of performers in a row.  We will try to accommodate all performers as best as possible into the hour of your choice, however we are unable to give you and "exact" time slot.

  • Time Slots Are Available at the Door

  • Additional time slots are available to give away at the door. These time slots will be determined once we have our "early reservation" sheet filled.
  • We will fill in whatever times slots we have left.
