In tribute to its past member Joe Henum, exceptional community leader and volunteer, the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs seeks to discover and recognize an unsung hero who best represents the high ideals of "Service Above Self" that Joe exhibited during his life. Please submit your nominee by filling in the information requested below. Nominations should be received by the committee no later than September 15. The selection(1) will be made on September 30. ( 1 ) The recognized nominee will be awarded a $1000 prize to be given to a charity of the nominee’s choosing. In addition the awardee will bedesignated by Rotary International as a "Paul Harris Fellow" which represents Colorado Springs Rotary’s contribution of $1,000 to theRotary Foundation ~ proceeds used throughout the world for humanitarian purposes. The selected nominee will be announced via e-mail andcommunity publicity. An award ceremony will be conducted at a club’s Friday noon luncheon.
