Terms & Conditions
We understand and agree that: the grant is made only for the purposes as agreed by London Week of Peace Strategic Panning Group and the grant is based upon the information supplied in your application. No variations to the use of these monies is allowed. Organisations must keep proper up-to-date records and accounts that show how the grant is being used. The financial records should be available to representatives of the LWOP Strategic group. The strategic group will require copies of all invoices relating to the agreed amount. Projects should be up and running during the LWOP and grants spent by the 1

of October 2008. (please inform us if this is not possible) Any publicity developed for the event should include the following wording "this event forms part of the London Week of Peace taking place from 13th to 21
st
September 2008. For more information visit www.weekofpeace.org.uk or email: info@weekofpeace.org.uk. Any publicity developed for the event must include the London and Borough Week of Peace Logo. Photographs and write ups will be required for the 2008 Report and web based publicity.A report on how the grant has been spent and what has been achieved will be required by the 3

of October 2008. A monitoring form for this purpose will be supplied. Organisations will be expected to repay grants if they are found to have acted fraudulently or negligently. Any decision to claim back the grant shall be at the sole discretion of the London Week of Peace Strategic Planning Group. A list of successful applicants will be on the website and they will be notified in writing. If you have not heard from us by the 5
th
September we are sorry your application was not successful. There is no appeal process for the London Week of Peace small grants scheme.

Maximum amount of fund given is £750.00. The project must have achieved match funding in order to apply for this fund. This could be in the form of funding from within the organisation (e.g. monies, resources, venue etc or funding from another organisation). Ensure that the Chair/ Treasurer for your organisation has signed and dated this form - we cannot accept forms that have not been signed or dated. (forms can be filled in online but a signed copy should be sent by post) The project must be based and delivered in London. The project must have a management committee. Deadline for completed applications is the 29th August 2008 and applicants will be informed by the 5th September 2008.
