Apply to be a PRX BallotVox Co-Curator
BallotVox Co-Curators will work with PRX as part of a public media collaboration to find, select, and annotate “user-generated content” from blogs, YouTube, Flickr, podcasts, and other sources. The project will focus specifically on very local citizen media relevant to Campaign 08. Selected content will be showcased on BallotVox, on public media websites, and possibly in public media programming. You can read more about what we're looking for on http://www.ballotvox.org
We're looking for people who are passionate but also discriminating about social media, fluent in “web 2.0,” and super users of tools like del.icio.us, Flickr, YouTube, and blogs. You should be a keen observer of local angles on electoral politics, Campaign ’08, candidates, and issues. You are an open-minded person who is ready to have some fun with this project. WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PAID POSITIONS, but we do have 10-15 volunteer jobs available. Volunteer co-curators can focus on regions, communities, specific issues, or specific candidates.
