Possible Job Duties and Requirements: Be on set for the entire shooting days (usually sun up to sun down) as well as be present at the planning meeting. Greet each new horse and rider as soon as they arrive on the premises. Give them their greeting pack, liaison any questions; Collect horse’s papers–Coggins and release forms; Help with white balance card at every new backdrop; Get batteries/electronic gear as needed; Help clear and quiet the set before takes; Watch for consistency/backgrounds
during filming; Keep an eye on horse and watch for tack slipping, etc.; Help take orders and arrange for lunch/ snack breaks; Announce the time on the hour and help us stick to the schedule Take notes about which take was best, keep time notes and add up how much time is left to shoot for each episode. Take notes about transitions and edit points. Have fun and be one of the team for a great but busy shoot week!
