Comments:
Riders acknowledge that this is a public event on public trails and they are responsible for themselves, their horses, actions of their horses and staying on the trails. The Ceremony will be in Riverbend Park at 11:00 am to celebrate the new bridge connecting Jupiter Farms to Riverbend Park and the Ocean to Lake Greenway, new trails, improved access since 2005 and the return of the Ring of Unity. "Food & Feather" participants will receive a symbolic eagle feather for their horses mane and lunch in Riverbend Park at the Picnic kiosk around 1:00 pm. The feathers are available while they last, which is approx. the first 60 people to register. They will be given out to donation participants at the bridge, before the ceremony. Please put a braid in your horses mane so you can attach the feather. After the ceremony, riders can enjoy exploring the East Trails of Riverbend then back to the picnic area. All Riverbend Equestrian Trails are marked "white" only. Riders are responsible for getting to the ceremony and home at their own risk. Riders agree that photos can be used to help promote more trail access for our communities. The historic Ring of Unity, from Community Connections inaugural Ocean to Lake Greenway Events 2005, 2006 will be carried and shared by each community as it returns to its original home of Riverbend Park.
