Submit
Submission Guidelines
A signed
release form
is required for all artwork. Release forms will be available at the exhibit.
All Dartmouth Asian and Asian American alumni are eligible to submit pieces to BYOA.
Submission deadline is October 17, 2009.
Spaceis limited. As a result, we accept submissions on a first-come,first-serve basis. Not all submissions will be part of the October 24,2009 BYOA.
Allworks including two-dimensional works (e.g., paintings) must be ready to be displayed on tables or easels. We cannot hang art on walls.
Short movies or animations under 5 minutes can be sent to us in DV, HDV 720p and 1080i, and MPEG-4. Email

if you plan to send a movie.
Based on space limitations, we may decide that works are too large to exhibit.
Artists will be assigned specific times to set up and take down their exhibits.
Artists selected for participation in the BYOA will be required to sign a release form,which will be provided on the day of set up.
Items may be sold at the BYOA. Business cards maybe distributed. The artist’s name, job title, department, and e-mail address will be listed on each piece’s title card. People are responsible for contacting the artists directly to buy.
DAPAAA reserves the right to remove obscene, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate material from exhibition at any time in its sole discretion.
DAPAAA reserves the right to dispose of any work that an artist has not removed from the festival premises within one hour after the end of the event.
The following information is required with submission: alumni name, year of graduation, e-mail address and phone number; title, medium, size of each piece, and specific needs for display.
Artists are encouraged to provide DAPAAA with pictures of their works with the submission form to include in the event program.
