Clean Energy Revolving Fund
Loan Application
Any member of the St. Olaf Community may apply for project funding provided that the project has a cost-savings mechanism component that will provide repayment money for the loan. A complete application consists of the proposal form, and the support from a faculty member or knowledgeable community member. An initial consultation with Pete Sandberg (sandberg@stolaf.edu), the director of facilities, is recommended in order to ensure project feasibility. The CERF board recommends talking with Mr. Sandberg early in drafting the proposal. Applications must be turned in at least 48 hours in advance of any CERF board meeting, the dates of which are October 15th at 4:15pm and December 3rd at 4:15pm. Applications for projects may be submitted by email to Katherine Horvat (horvat@stolaf.edu) or placed in the Environmental Coalition P.O. Box (#146). Please refer to the CERF charter for more details about the structure of the board, appropriate use of funds, and the nature of the payback mechanism. If you have any questions, please contact Katherine Horvat (horvat).
