Keep in mind that this will be my first CTCAHT conference, so
some of these things may already be in place.  I think there
should be tracks for attendees so that people find their
objectives are being met. For example, there should be a
track for people who are new/newer to the work and are in
need of more basic details/understanding; there should be a
track for people coming from a social services perspective;
there should be a track for people more focused on legal/law
enforcement aspects of the issues; there should be a track
for people who are more advanced in the work and do not 
need the 101 type info. I think there would be some overlap
for attendees, but conference objectives would likely vary
based on experience and job description.<br/>

1.  Share Best Practices that have resulted in: 
      a. Increased identification and rescue of trafficked victims 
      b. Successful prosecution of traffickers
      c. Improved social and medical services for rescued
          survivors 

2.  Provide opportunity to gain contacts and encourage 
     continued region-wide collaboration between law
     enforcement and service providers. 

3.  Inform conference participants about the scope of the
      Human Trafficking problems in central Texas and identify 
      the areas or cities that need the most immediate focus.

4.  Gain knowledge and insight which will help define specific
      strategies and action plans that can be implemented in 
      the coming months.
