  • STUDENT PHOTO / VIDEO AND WORK CONSENT

  • We sometimes take photographs of pupils. We use these photos in the prospectus, on the website and on display boards around the academy.

We would like your consent to take photos of your child, and use them in the ways described above. If you’re not happy for us to do this, that’s no problem – we will accommodate your preferences.

Why are we asking for your consent?
To ensure we are meeting GDPR requirements, we need to seek your consent to take and use photos of your child. We really value using photos of pupils, to be able to showcase what pupils do in the academy and show what life at our academy is like to others, so we would appreciate you taking the time to give consent.

This permission will be counted as valid for the duration of your child’s time at the academy. If you change your mind at any time you can notify us in writing so we can amend your preferences.

  • I am happy for the academy to use my child’s work/photographic images/videos for internal display*
  • I am happy for the academy to use my child’s work/photographic images/videos for promotional purposes outside of the academy (including the prospectus and the website)*
  • I am happy for the academy to use my child’s work/photographic images/videos for display and/or promotional purposes via social media*

    ● Our official Facebook page

    I will not:
    ● Use private groups, the academy's Facebook page, or personal social media to complain about or criticise members of staff. This is not constructive and the academy can’t improve or address issues if they aren’t raised in an appropriate way
    ● Use private groups, the academy's Facebook page, or personal social media to complain about, or try to resolve, a behaviour issue involving other pupils. I will contact the academy and speak to the appropriate member of staff if I’m aware of a specific behaviour issue or incident
