Membership Committee: Responsible for handling all issues that may arise with membership. Committee shall also be responsible for handling membership orientation as well as managing the calendar and tracking attendance. Additionally, Membership shall coordinate with the Events Committee to organize events promoting the YPB in the community to acquire new members. Shall lead the membership selection process as well as track the fulfillment of member requirements.Events Committee: The Events Committee shall facilitate the organization of events such as social (to promote relationship building within the YPB and to obtain new members in the community), professional development (in order to connect with professionals in the community such as Board members of RMHCCIN), fundraising (to raise funds for the House as well as awareness in the community). The Events Committee shall coordinate efforts with the Membership, Treasury and Communications Committees in order to garner the greatest results and value from each event.Treasury Committee: Will manage the corporate sponsorship and individual donor network to maintain good standing relationships. Shall continually work with members of the YPB to explore opportunities to obtain new sponsors and donors. Treasury shall provide reporting of fundraising achieved, member contributions, and expenses incurred by the YPB.Community Relations Committee: Will work with all committees of YPB to spread event information through selected advertising sources, including social media outlets, print media, websites, radio, television, and all other pertinent venues. Will also maintain the YPB website and social media accounts. The Community Relations Committee shall provide assist the delivery of broadening our community connection through raising awareness of our MissionOther Committees: In addition to the foregoing standing committees the Executive Committee may create other committees, as it deems necessary to support YPB activities.Not interested in joining a committee
How did you hear about the YPB?*
YPB members are required to:
- Attend at least three-quarters (75%) of regularly scheduled YPB meetings
- Volunteer or participate in one RMHCCIN event per year
- Fulfill the annual YPB member contributions. Member contributions should be something meaningful to each member and is suggested to be a minimum of $60 per year
- Serve as member to one of the committees of the YPB
