Pet Ownership
We breed to the Canadian Kennel Club breed standard for height. Miniature poodles should be between 10-15” at the shoulder. The term “Moyen” is NOT a recognized size in North America and we do not breed for oversized miniature poodles, although on occasion we may have a puppy go oversized. We will do our best to predict mature height at 8 weeks, however we cannot guarantee it. Do you have a preference for height?
We primarily breed solid black poodles. It is rare that we have any other color. If we were to produce an alternate color it would be either white/Cream or Brown. In 24 years of breeding we have only produced 4 alternately coloured poodles from black. Are you looking for a black poodle?

Breeder Expectations
Our poodles are not to bred to another poodle or cross bred (intentionally or accidentally). There will be a significant monetary fine for each incident this happens. Are you prepared to accept this contract? (Please note: we do not support in the cross breeding of poodles to produce doodles)

Filling in this questionnaire does not guarantee you a puppy or a spot on our waiting list.

This questionnaire is the first step in determining if your family is the right fit for a Kandansk puppy.

Upon review of this questionnaire, if we decide to proceed to the next step we will contact you to set up an interview. This will be done by phone, or if distance permits we may extend an offer for a visit. Please note: this step might not happen right away as we have jobs and home obligations.

If approved as a potential home, we do not require a deposit to hold your spot on our waiting list. Once on our waiting list you will be informed of when breedings occur, conformation of pregnancy, etc. Once the litter is born a $500 non refundable deposit is required once we know we have a puppy for you. If you do not provide the deposit, we will not hold a puppy for you.

We do ask that if you choose to go with another breeder while on our waiting list, please be so kind to let us know right away!
