Reminder: The owner has up to 24 hours to request any claims against the security deposit or request additional charges be made to the renter. If there is a dispute, be sure to have all receipts, invoices, and photos available.
A renter has 24 hours to act on the owner’s request. If a renter would like to dispute the claim they have 24 hours to do so. Settled claims that exceed the security deposit may be charged to the primary renter’s credit card on file with DayTrail.
Note that all security deposit claims and additional charges are subject to a 2.95% credit card processing fee that the vehicle owner may pass to the vehicle renter.
