  • HOST agrees the following facility requirements for the DIII Men's Soccer : - ADA Compliant - No tobacco use at NJCAA event - Public Address and Sound System - Athletic Training Facilities - Hospitality room for coaches, officials and VIPs - Appropriate lighting for outdoor sports - Press Box / Table area (dedicated covered area for scoreboard operator, statistician, media, etc.) - Concessions and Souvenir sales area - Ticket Office / Gate Entry - Playing surface of natural grass or sport turf is required that must measure at least 110 yards by 70 yards. - Artificial turf fields must be a rubber infill surface, consistent with current FIFA approved fields. - Game clock / scoreboard must be visible from the field of play. - Minimum seating capacity of 750 - Three (3) locker rooms complete with showers for teams - NISOA approved officials - Minimum of two (2) uniformed security guards throughout the tournament - Separate and secure locker room for officials (one per gender) - Dedicated hard wire internet and access to power for NJCAA Network broadcasting - Dedicated covered and secured from elements facility for NJCAA Network broadcasting- Designated seating area for teams/competitors when not playing - Designated warm up area for teams - Designated practice time for participating teams for two days preceding the tournament.
  • GAME OFFICIALS
  • HOST agrees it is responsible for contracting and assigning the services of all necessary officials, judges, etc. to satisfactorily conduct the tournament as determined by the NJCAA DIII Men’s Soccer Committee for NJCAA approval. Only NISOA approved officials may be used in the tournament. For each contest an official timer, scorekeeper and four ball persons shall be arranged.*
  • HOST agrees it is responsible for having a Supervisor of Officials on its tournament staff to coordinate the assigning of officials throughout the tournament. At least thirty (30) days prior to the start of the tournament, HOST is to provide the NJCAA with the name and credentials of all officials contracted as well as the name and contact information of the person serving as the Supervisor of Officials for the tournament.*

  • A tournament banquet is optional but preferred. Do you plan on having a tournament banquet for teams / participants of the championship event?*
  • NJCAA BRAND STANDARDS & LOGO USE
  • All NJCAA Championship Hosts must adhere and follow all policies of the NJCAA Logo Use & Style Guide. As well as what is outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements.

  • HOST agrees that it will adhere and follow all policies regarding SPONSORS / ADVERTISING as outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( NJCAA Sponsors, Local Sponsors / Advertising / Inventory)*
  • MARKETING
  • HOST agrees that it will adhere and follow all policies regarding MARKETING ITEMS as outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( Championship Program, Banners / PA Announcements)*
  • STATISTICS / RESULTS
  • HOST agrees that it is responsible for providing knowledgeable staff to record official statistics for the entire championship. Statistics are to be recorded for each game/event of the championship and provided to the NJCAA immediately following the conclusion of each contest/round of competition. The name(s) and contact information for the individual(s) keeping statistics for the event must be provided to the NJCAA at least thirty days prior to the start of the event.

     

    HOST of the DIII Men's Soccer Championship is required to record game statistics via PrestoSports Stat Entry, live StatCrew entry via PrestoSports, or another live scoring method approved by the NJCAA National Office. The XML files for each game are to be sent to the NJCAA following the conclusion of each game. PrestoSports Stat Entry is available to all tournament hosts of these sports at no cost.   • HOST agrees to the recording and reporting of statistics/results as outlined above? **
  • PHOTOGRAPHY
  • HOST agrees to provide an official photographer to take photographs during the entirety of the event . The name and contact information for the photographer must be provided to the NJCAA at least thirty days to the start of the event. For head-to-head sports, photographers will be required to provide 3-5 images to the National Office immediately following each contest.  All remaining pictures should be provided immediately after the conclusion of each day of competition. For non-head-to-head sports, photographers will be required to provide all photos to the National Office immediately after the conclusion of each day of competition.  Photographers will be required to provide all photographs taken at the event to the NJCAA free of charge for use on the NJCAA website, publications and promotional materials.*
  • NJCAA - BROADCAST POLICIES
     
  • Should a Host choose to provide streaming production assistance or to cover production and/or cost of production as part of its bid, it first must get approval from the NJCAA and agree to production standards established by the NJCAA. Host will also be requested to assist with acquiring local commentators/talent for the streaming broadcasts. Please list any streaming production assistance or costs that would be covered by you as the host as part of your bid. Examples include providing full production, providing camera operators, having access to college or local media department/group, providing payment to cover production costs, etc. **
