Thank you for taking this survey on neurodiverse market research into clothing for workwear and casualwear. Disability clothing brands have just started emerging in the last 5 years, particularly for people who aren’t yet pensioners. As the discourse and market performance on neurodiverse specific clothing is still in it’s infancy, I am looking for your feedback as a neurodiverse person on the things you find most valuable when looking for clothes for yourself.
The survey covers the below topics:
- Demographics
- Fabric sensitivities for work and casualwear
- Styles for work and casualwear
- Colours and Patterns for work and casualwear
- Cost for work and casualwear
- Open ended summary
Most sets of questions will ask you to rate options twice: once for workwear and once for casualwear. This is because the clothes I wear to work and at home vary widely in fabrics, colours, and cost, so I would answer the question differently depending on what type of clothes I was thinking about. If your answers are the same for work and casual that is also good to know!
These findings will be used to inform a brand strategy for a start-up fashion brand for neurodiverse working adults. The clothes will be designed by neurodiverse for neurodiverse, so if you are a carer for a neurodiverse adult who has particular clothing needs but can’t do this survey, you may answer on their behalf.
The survey is completely anonymous, and you can skip any questions you aren't comfortable with answering. The survey is likely to take about 15 mins to complete. Thank you for your time and insights!
