Tech To Connect Series: Technical Workshops #9

The Fifth Generation (5G) wireless network technology is the key building block in the development of a Connected Smart City. Together with the help of the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) Technology, the synchronization of everything is now becoming a reality. As the Smart City Blueprint of Hong Kong (Blueprint2.0) has been initiated in the six smart areas “Smart Mobility”, “Smart Living”, “Smart Environment”, “Smart People”, “Smart Government” and “Smart Economy”

Tech To Connect Series aims to discuss and explore the advantages brought by the innovative 5G and IoT Technology and how they could help to address the problems of which the ICT Industry and SMEs are encountering in their business operations.

Tech to Connect Series consists of two Public Awareness Seminars, a TechConnect Conference and a total of 12 Technical workshops where experts and professionals in the ICT domain will share their insightful ideas on the application of 5G and IoT.

“5G & IoT Redefining: The New age of Retails”

This technical workshop aims to discover how the 5G and IoT technology is raising the bar for an immersive Retail experience with different emerging technologies, including the 3D Holographic imaging system and explore what kind of technical knowledge we should know before becoming a professional retailer in the marketplace. Valued speakers will be invited from the Retail-Tech Industry to showcase the latest technological capability of Retail-Tech.
