  • In order to apply for an SUST attribute:

    1. Course content must incorporate key sustainability concepts.
    2. The course syllabus must contain a SUST Attribute section that explains how sustainability relates to this course.
      1. For example: This course carries a Sustainability (SUST) attribute, which is part of the University of Utah’s STARS metrics and Climate Action Plan commitment. Students will learn how sustainability relates to the topics in this course by …
  • *We included four additional sustainability topic areas that we feel were not captured in the SDGs. These are from the University of Utah's Global Change and Sustainability Center (GCSC), a faculty-led initiative to develop multi-college, interdisciplinary research and training related to the environment and sustainability, from local to global scales.
