  • Settlement Licence

  • When Baltic Data is referenced for the settlement of contracts, every party to the contract is required to have a valid Baltic Data Settlement Licence for the entire duration of the contract. This includes, but is not limited to, Time and Voyage Charterparties, Contracts of Affreightment (COAs), Commodity Contracts and Freight Derivative agreements (FFAs) that are not given up for clearing. A Baltic Data Settlement Licence can be obtained through a Baltic Panellist or obtained directly from the Baltic Exchange.

      • Certificate of Incumbency issued by a registered agent, showing shareholders, ownership structure, directors and officers.

      • Ownership structure chart, corporate group chart or corporate ownership report, showing the ownership chain from the applicant to the ultimate beneficial owner(s). Documents must be independently verified (for example by apostille, legalisation, notarisation or other acceptable independent certification).

      • Consolidated annual report showing the ownership structure and ultimate beneficial owner(s).

      • For investment fund ownership structures, a Fund Offering Memorandum, Prospectus or equivalent documentation, together with any supporting information required to identify the individuals who ultimately control the structure.
