Region - 2025 Club Event Sanctioning Application Form

2025 CLUB SANCTIONED EVENT APPLICATION FORM
To apply to host a Sanctioned event within the State of NSW, hosts MUST complete details within the application process and submit the Application Form no later than six weeks prior to the event.

Only participants registered with Gymnastics NSW and from Gymnastics NSW Affiliated Clubs are eligible to enter the sanctioned event.

NOTE: Competitions will not be sanctioned, or sanctioning will be removed if participants from a non-affiliated club participate in the event, or any event/competition connected or associated in any way with or run in conjunction with the sanctioned event.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Any club looking to host a competition or event in 2025 must complete the Event Sanctioning Application.

To apply for a sanctioned event please read and complete ALL steps below;

Step 1: Complete the details of the person submitting the application
Step 2: Select event type and gymsport(s)
Step 3: Enter the specific event details
Step 4: Upload required documents

After the event, please email the results to your CRDO within 7 days.

SANCTIONING AGREEMENT
As part of my application to host a Sanctioned event, I agree to abide by all GNSW policies, rules and codes of conducts, including but not limited to the Sanctioned Event Policy and Application Booklet, Membership Policy, GNSW Technical Regulations, Judge Policy and Protocols and Member Protection Policy. I understand that Gymnastics NSW has the right to refuse final sanctioning or to remove sanctioning of that event if the aforementioned requirements are not met. The host club will ensure that all clubs are aware that it is the club's responsibility to ensure all athletes and officials are current registered members of Gymnastics NSW prior to submitting entries, and those officials’ technical registrations will still be current on the day of the event. Participating clubs must ensure that all Coaches and Judges registered for their Club have a current relationship registered at the Club in Gymnastics Online before registering them for any event.*

The host club will ensure that all clubs are aware that all coaches, judges, officials, administrators and volunteers over the age of 18 working (either in a paid or volunteer capacity) at Gymnastics New South Wales affiliated clubs, GNSW sanctioned events, and as part of GNSW sanctioned teams must hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). All officials must supply their WWCC number, expiry date and date of birth with their nomination to attend any GNSW event, including Region events. No official will be permitted onto the Field of Play, including the competition floor, warm-up areas, marshalling areas or official spaces without a verified WWCC. Clubs must ensure that all Coaches and Judges registered for their Club have a current and valid WWCC registered at the Club in the Club Admin Portal, on the WWCC Check tab, before registering them for any event.*
