Thank you for taking the time to complete this application! At first glance, you might think, "All this for a puppy? Are all these questions really necessary?" The answer is yes! Our puppies are raised as part of our family to be social and good-tempered. We care deeply for our animals, and our goal is to raise healthy family dogs and the best companions for your family.

We are a small home-based hobby breeder located in Southern California. We offer exceptional, beautiful American Cocker Spaniels. We have carefully selected our Dam and Sire for our breeding program. Our dogs and puppies are members of our family, and owning a dog is a lifetime commitment that should not be taken lightly. We would like to get to know you better to see if we are the best choice for you.

Completing the following application allows us to understand what you are looking for so we can help you choose the best pup for you and your family!

- We are thrilled that you are interested in obtaining a puppy from us! To reserve a puppy, we require a non-refundable deposit of $750. You can make a deposit at any time before the puppy reaches 6 weeks of age, but you will not be able to select a puppy until at least the 6th week. Once the puppies reach 6 weeks of age, we will allow our approved buyers on our waiting list to select their puppies in the order that deposits were given. The deposit you make will be applied towards the final purchase price of the puppy.
  
  We will provide recommendations on selecting a puppy based on its size, temperament, and appearance. We understand that potential puppy parents may feel the need to visit our puppies, but we do not permit any visitors. This gives the mother ample time to bond with her new babies, and often our females are very protective of their puppies until a certain stage of their development. It is also for the health and safety of our dam and puppies.
  
  We will post videos and pictures regularly on our Instagram account. You will see many photos and videos of the puppies until you are able to come meet them! Our puppies are handled daily and start their crate training. Their nails are trimed and hair is cut early on, to help in caring for them as adults. Tails have also been docked.
  
  Puppies are susceptible to various illnesses that can be contracted through clothing, shoes, or their environment. Since they won't receive their full vaccinations at 8 weeks of age, it's important to educate yourself and follow guidelines to keep your puppy healthy. Illnesses are quite common in puppies, but with proper education and prevention, they can be avoided.
  
  In most cases, all of our puppies are reserved before they are six weeks old. Therefore, we are unable to hold any puppies without a deposit. If you have any inquiries or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

- ACS require frequent grooming and combing. They are mild shedders. Are you able to commit to the amount of grooming care they need or are you willing to take them to a professional groomer? *

- All puppies sold on limited AKC are required to be spayed or neutered after 6 months of age, but within 1 year. Proof must be provided.

- Completing this application is an essential step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Little Inspirational Treasures. However, it does not guarantee that you will receive a puppy from this or any future litter. Please keep in mind that while it is unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. If your application is approved, you will be notified accordingly.
  
  Please be aware of our deposit policy: by making a deposit, you are committing to adopting a puppy from the litter. If you decide not to adopt a puppy from the litter, the deposit will be forfeited. We strive to do our best to match your preferences with the available puppies.
  
  Deposits are non-refundable.
  
  Occasionally, we may choose to reserve a puppy from a litter. We have the right to do so. As a result, some puppies may not be available for a few weeks while we make a decision. Puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes at eight weeks old. It is important for their social development that they leave within a reasonable timeframe.
  
  Please note that puppies must be picked up within 7 days unless other written arrangements are made. Kindly note that we have a contract, which must be signed before we can place a puppy. If you have any questions about the specific terms and conditions, please contact us before signing the contract or placing a deposit.
  
  It is important to note that you are only purchasing a "Limited Registration, that the puppy will undergo spaying/neutering at or before 12 months. You will need to provide proof of the procedure from your vet. Also, AKC litter will be registered through the AKC. AKC registration information will be provided along with a 30-day health insurance offer through AKC at the time of puppy registration.
