THE MAINE EVERGREEN HOTEL Gallery of Maine Art "Walls & Halls" Artist Call Submissions

Welcoming artwork of and/or from the beautiful state of MAINE!
VISION: Hoteliers Alec & Julie Rogers have redeveloped their hotel on Whitten Road in Maine's capital city of Augusta creating an upscale, unique boutique hotel that evokes a strong sense of place for travelers looking for an authentic Maine experience. Photographic murals of iconic Maine images have been installed throughout the facility, and space will be available for showcasing art of the region, creating a gallery with the walls of the hotel's public spaces and corridors.

CRITERIA: 2D artwork (in any medium) that evokes the environment, lifestyle, culture, and/or history of MAINE. Quality framing or presentation will be required, and sales will be facilitated at a 20% commission. Artists will be contacted if the proprietors feel the work is in keeping with their vision for the hotel/gallery.
