The CLAY Crew will gather for two days prior to the gathering for training, team building, learning and spiritual formation. If you are selected, you will need to arrange your travel to arrive in Waterloo by Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2023. This preparation time will involve work with both the team and in your specialist area, under the supervision of your two CLAY Crew Leaders and a member of the National Planning Committee. There will be learning to work as a team and developing strong leadership, collaboration and group skills as a community.
If you are applying as a member of the CLAY Crew, know that the time requirement is a full six days of focused work and a commitment to a holistic learning experience – mind, body, spirit and skills.
Costs for participating as a member of the CLAY Crew:
Discounted registration costs (which include accommodations and meals from August 8 – August 14, 2023) - $287.50
Travel costs to and from Waterloo
Because you are asked to arrive earlier, the costs associated with your time in Waterloo before the Gathering actually starts will be covered. These costs are your meals and accommodations for the Tuesday and Wednesday before the Gathering starts.
