Prescription Numbing Cream Info:

- Available as an optional add-on for $25.

- Requires a longer appointment time as there is a 30 min wait after cream is applied.

- This is a topical medicine which works on surface tissue. It helps lessen, but not eliminate discomfort. You will still feel a brief pinch when pierced.

- Is it needed or recommended?????

Every person is different. Some kids tolerate the process without numbing and don't blink an eye. Some may have a few tears, even with the numbing cream. Some become more nervous while waiting for the numbing cream to kick in and some feel more comfortable knowing it was used.

- Instructions for using an over-the-counter numbing cream at home, prior to the visit is available upon request.
