Invitation to Join Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Who: Young children 3-6 years old are welcome to join SMM's Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program. The class of up to 7 students will be taught by a lead Catechist and assistant Catechist. Suzanne Macaulay, Diane Muelleman, Rita Macaulay, and Trista Welsh have graciously offered to serve as the lead Catechists for two classes this year.

We ask parents and grandparents to prayerfully consider serving as an assistant for this class. No CGS Catechist experience is required, but SAFE environment training is needed.

What: Catechesis following the CGS model offers children a quiet place to grow in their faith as young disciples and build understanding of and reverence for the Holy Mass.

When: Wednesday's from 9:30am-11:00am or Thursday's from 9:00am-10:15am. Classes begin on September 12th and 13th. beginning January 17th, and will follow the SMM school calendar through May 9th.

Where: We are excited to offer CGS Classes in our Atrium space in the old parish nursery.

Tuition: Funds from tuition ($125 for SMM Parishioners, $175 for non-registered parishioners) will be used to purchase additional materials for the CGS Atrium space.
