Thank you for your interest in the ConnexCares Grant Program. Please read carefully the following criteria and Grant application requirements. We welcome your comments and questions concerning your eligibility.
· Organizations requesting a minimum of $5,000 are invited to apply for a donation from ConnexCares Grant Program.
· Grant requests must demonstrate an ability to meet community needs and have measurable goals and support one or more pillars listed on the previous page.
· Organization must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and have been in existence for at least two years.
· Organization must be in compliance with anti-discrimination laws at the Local, State, and Federal level.
· The organization must be located in New Haven, Hartford, Middlesex, or Fairfield County.
· The organization may be asked to make a presentation to the Foundation Board to explain in detail the donation request.
· Donations are not renewable but may be applied for in subsequent years.
· Grant requests may be submitted during the submission period listed below. Grants are awarded the following month:

· Submit only one Grant application per organization.
· Preference is given to projects that have a community impact in New Haven, Hartford, Middlesex, and/or Fairfield County areas, and meets one of ConnexCare’s pillars.
· We seek projects that are not principally nor typically funded by a government agency.
· ConnexCares does not fund endowment campaigns, individuals or individual projects, individual teams or smaller sports organizations that do not benefit a large segment of the community, where funds would be used for the purpose of building assets or capital, religious organizations, political causes or candidates, or reduction or liquidation of debt.
