    Currently, we are looking for volunteers to support our Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS). To be a CLAS volunteer, you must be a Singapore Qualified Lawyer with a Practising Certificate. Please select "Representation > CLAS" in the fields below.

    We are also looking for volunteers to support our front desk operations at the State Courts, please refer to the Job Description attached (please click on the Settings and select the vertical layout). Please select "Administration including frontline support" in the areas of interest field below. We will be in touch if you are shortlisted.

     

  • *Due to the nature of our work, we require all volunteers to be at least 18 years old. If you do not meet the age requirement, you may wish to explore other avenues of volunteering, or to reapply once you meet this requirement.

  • Kindly note that for Family Justice Support Scheme:

    • The minimum requirement to be a Panel Lawyer is 3 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) with 2 years in Family Law as a Singapore-Qualified Lawyer. 
    • Panel Lawyers are expected to take up cases from both the Pro Bono Clearinghouse and Modest Means Clearinghouse. 
    • The first round of selection for our pilot has concluded.
    • The date of the next recruitment drive is to be confirmed and you may complete this form to indicate your interest.
    • There will be a selection process by the FJSS Committee (QC Sub-Committee) and you will be informed if your application is successful.

  • By registering and submitting this form, I confirm the following:

    1. The particulars provided to Pro Bono SG ("PBSG") are true and accurate. 
    2. In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), I hereby give consent to PBSG to collect, use and/or disclose my personal data (as indicated in this form) for purposes reasonably required by PBSG for volunteer management purposes, which include:

      ·       to process and evaluate my suitability to volunteer 

      ·       to administer my volunteer services and/or communications pertaining to my volunteer services with PBSG 

      ·       to monitor, evaluate and/or audit services I participate in 

      ·       to inform/update me on PBSG’s initiatives, volunteer opportunities, related activities, platforms and events.

    4. If I am involved as a volunteer lawyer, my involvement is in compliance with the relevant legal profession laws and regulations.

    5. If I am involved as a volunteer interpreter, I have read and agree to the Interpreter Code of Conduct here.

    6. I will inform PBSG immediately via email to volunteer@probono.sg if I am no longer able to volunteer with PBSG for any reason, which includes an inability to perform volunteering duties in accordance with any professional standards, governing laws and regulatory requirements; or if I no longer wish to volunteer with PBSG or receive communications on volunteering opportunities. 

    The purposes listed in the above clauses may continue to apply even in situations where the volunteer stint at PBSG has ended, or for a reasonable period thereafter.

  • I consent to PBSG using photographs and recordings taken at PBSG events where I am present, in PBSG publicity materials and on communications platforms, including social media platforms.

    In the event that you do not wish to have your photos/audio-visual recordings taken at any PBSG event, kindly move away from the area(s) that photographers/ videographers are capturing candid shots/recordings.
