Ambassadors to Germany and Jewrovision | May 14th - May 21st
Join BBYO on an excursion and sightseeing adventure to Frankfurt, Cologne, and Worms, Germany! Teens will sightsee and interact with the local Jewish community in Germany, and gain an appreciation for Jewish life in it's renaissance in 2023. BBYO will also be sending a global delegation to Jewrovision—Germany's largest annual Jewish teen event hosted this year in Frankfurt! With more than 2,000 attendees participating each year, Jewrovision is a national singing and performance competition for BBYO's chapter partners across Germany. Witness and celebrate the continued rejuvenation of Jewish life in Germany alongside our movement partner ZWST.
Ambassadors to the Baltics | May 15th - May 21st
Join a delegation of Alephs and B'nai B'rith Girls embarking on Ambassadors to the Baltics across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia! Explore the rich history of Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn among a global cohort of teens passionate about strengthening Jewish life worldwide. Participants will return home from this trip with new friends from around the world, new leadership skills, and a renewed sense of global Jewish responsibility.
All members from around the global BBYO Movement are invited to join. No specific BBYO leadership criteria are necessary. All participants will be expected to run a follow-up program in their community and submit a reflection about their experience to their local press.
For delegates who need an intercontinental flight (teens coming from outside of Europe), both experiences are a subsidized price of $1,500 USD which covers all expenses, including a staffed group flight from JFK airport on the evening of Saturday, May 13th for Ambassadors to Germany and Sunday, May 14th for Ambassadors to the Baltics. Teens from the USA and Canada will be responsible for covering their domestic travel to/from the New York area.
Teens traveling from within Europe will not need an intercontinental flight and will pay a subsidized price of €700 ($750 USD), which covers all expenses besides an intracontinental flight to either Frankfurt, Germany on May 14th or Vilnius, Lithuania on May 15th.
Additional need-based scholarship is widely available for anyone who applies.
Completing this application is the first step toward joining this trip. Please look out for additional communication from the Ambassadors Planning Team for next steps after we review your submission.
