    If access was unavailable at your property for a manual meter reading, you can complete this form to submit a self-read of your meter. You will need to take a photo of each reading, including every meter or register on your NMI (National Meter Identifier) if there are multiple.
  • Important Information

    Submission of a customer-provided meter read is intended as a temporary solution to meter access issues and we expect that you will resolve access issues for the longer term. 

    Options for resolving meter access issues include:

    • Removal of any physical obstruction, such as a lock on a gate preventing access to the meter, or;
    • Upgrade to a remotely-read smart meter, which would not require regular access for manual readings.

    You can request a meter upgrade via our website or give us a call on 1300 838 009 during business hours if you have any questions.
