IMPORTANT: We can only issue letters for active, registered parishioners.

An active parishioner, as defined by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, is “registered with a parish, attends Mass on a regular basis, supports the parish through the consistent giving of time, talent and financial resources in support of the parish (use of offertory envelopes or online giving) and receives regular mailings and communications from the parish.” We will verify your parish status prior to preparing the requested letter and will contact you if we need any information from you.

If you wish to celebrate your marriage outside of St. Lawrence, you must schedule an appointment with the Pastor at least 9 months before your anticipated wedding date. This allows time for the necessary permissions to be granted.

To schedule your appointment, please contact the Pastor’s Administrative Assistant.

Failure to follow this process may result in your marriage being considered invalid.
