💫CONTEST RULES & EVENT INFORMATION
1. One nomination per entry form.
2. Information must be accurate, honest, and verifiable. Dishonest nominations and misrepresentations will result in disqualification and other measures, including prosecution for fraud if money or awards are collected based on misrepresentations.
3. Time Frame: For this Inaugural Awards show only, accolades and high achievements can have occurred from 2020 to present, since GTHASO was founded in 2020. After and beyond the 2024 awards, we will celebrate accomplishments that occur within a one year period.
4. If nominated for multiple awards, we reserve the right to have the nominee select ONE (1) award category to participate in, depending on number of entries.
5. *Young Leader and Young Achiever Awards are for female High Achievers who are 18 years of age or younger.
6. Group Award recipients will NOT be contenders for the Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year Award, unless a group member also received an individual award. Only individual award winners will be eligible to be declared the Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year.
7. This is a ticketed event. All parties attending MUST purchase a ticket to attend. The ticket fee for nominees is $20 and the General Admission ticket fee is $30.
8. Nominees MUST be present to win. Failure to check in as present in person or by proxy will result in the runner-up with the closest amount of votes who IS present being declared the winner of the award.
9. The Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year will be announced at the end of the event. She must be present to win.
10. All finalists are encouraged, though not required, to wear GTHASO Ministry colors of PEACH and/or PINK or to wear coral, gold, or black.
11. Finalists in PerformHER categories will be invited to perform live at the event. Business owners/innovators may be invited to vend or showcase their businesses with tangible or digital displays. As this event celebrates and rewards women, we welcome any donation, including physical/digital donations and product/ service discounts that can be gifted to female attendees and/or added to the prize package for our Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year.
12. The Proverbs 31 Woman of the Year's grand prize of ONE(1) week vacation stay cannot be transferred for another week, nor can it be transferred to an alternate recipient or exchanged for its cash value. We ask that if a nominee knows that she cannot or will not utilize the gift of this grand prize reward, that she please notify us that she will not be a good candidate for Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year. Inability to accept the Proverbs 31 Woman Of The Year Award will not make the nominee a poor candidate for the individual award category that she is nominated for.
This winner is welcome to invite ONE (1) FEMALE guest to join her for the week-long oceanfront stay and to attend the GTHASO Conference Retreat with her, however that female will be required to pay a discounted rate for her lodging and for her registration fee.
13. Photos of Nominees will be taken on site prior to the event. Nominees are asked to arrive during the Hors d'oeuvre Hour which is one hour before the event begins for networking and photos. Group photos of winners will be taken immediately after the show.
14. Depending on the number of nomination entries per category, the GTHASO Awards Committee MAY be called upon to select a roster of top finalists for that category based on merit.
15. The GTHASO Sisters of High Achievement Awards will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 which is on the heels of International Women's Day, on Friday, March 8, 2024. The location will be in the Piedmont/Triad area of North Carolina and will be announced when the nominees are announced on January 28, 2024.
