2025 Youth Camp Application Form
To apply to participate in Youth Camp, please follow and complete ALL steps below;

Step 1: Check the applicant meets the elibility criteria
Step 2: Fill in applicant details
Step 3: Fill in applicant leadership experience
Step 4: Provide a reference from applicant's gymnastics club or school
Step 5: Parent/Guardian to fill in their details and provide emergency contact

All applications must be received by Sunday 16 March 2024.

Applications will be assessed by a selection panel appointed by GNSW and applicants will be notified of the outcome within one week of the closing date. Those that are not selected for the GNSW Youth Camp will be placed on a reserve list.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria will be considered when reviewing all Youth Camp applications.
- All applicants must be between the ages of 13 & 16
- Supporting clubs must be affiliated with Gymnastics NSW
- Demonstrated an interest in leadership and engagement in gymnastics professional development
- Current leadership role in club or school, e.g. involvement in club or school events, coaching, judging, member of a youth group etc.
- Demonstrated the potential benefits for the applicant.
- Commitment to attend full program and be an active member.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval and consent for my child’s participation in the Gymnastics NSW Youth Camp at at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation from the 14 - 16 April 2024.

I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities at the Youth Camp, and release, absolve and hold harmless Gymnastics NSW and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Gymnastics NSW including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities.

Gymnastics NSW advises that there may be official still and video photographers at all Association events. The association and/or their agents reserve the right to use images from these events in publications and promotions and for sale in DVD, video and still photograph formates. Any objections must be made in writing to Gymnastics NSW.
