Spartans Trials Registration

Before you proceed with the trial registration, please take a moment to carefully read the information provided below.

Join Burnaby Spartans for the 2026/27 season

We are recruiting for multiple positions across our four competitive men’s 11-a-side teams. At this stage, we are looking for high-level players only. If you are aiming for a more casual 11s team, we recommend joining for 7s first, then moving into 11s when space opens up.

If you’re interested in 7-a-side, no trial is required, just message us directly. For 11-a-side, players should be at an advanced level. If not, keep developing and try again next season, or join one of our 7s teams open to all levels.

Joining the club includes a one-time fee of $150, which covers two personalized kits, a jacket, and access to our Discord community. You’ll also be able to join free 7s games and club social events.

The full 11-a-side season cost is paid in installments starting in September. This covers training, pitch rentals, and referees. No extra costs aside from personal fines.

Match days:

Home matches: SFU Fox Stadium or SFU Field #4. Friday nights for the A-team (Ares) and D-Team (Hades), Sunday afternoons for B (Poseidon) & C (Zeus) teams.
Away matches: Played on weekends across the Lower Mainland.

Training schedule:

September to March: Usually Mondays or Tuesdays at Andy Livingstone Park
- Due to the returf, sessions may be start on Wednesdays at Empire until it reopens
Summer pre-season: Primarily at Empire Field (Tuesdays/Fridays)
