Welcome to the South Carolina Youth in Government Bill Submission Form!
This form is for any participating students that are members of the Model Legislature to submit their drafted legislation for inclusion in the 2025 Youth in Government Official Bills.
ChatGPT Policy: Students are prohibited from using ChatGPT or any other LLM to write their bills. Any bill recommended for an Outstanding Bill award will be examined for ChatGPT or other LLM assistance. Note that Outstanding Bills are not selected because the writing is outstanding; instead they are selected based on the importance of the issue, the clarity of explaining the issue and the proposed actions, research.
BILL BOOK DEADLINE: OCT 15th BY 6PM (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Bills should address issues that would legitimately be addressed at the state level, not the federal level. Please note that SC YMCA YIG staff does not prohibit bills on any topics.
