Grapevine MS Band Handbook
This Handbook is distributed to all band students and parents. The information is intended to make your Band experience as positive and fulfilling as possible. Both students AND parents are expected to read the Handbook.

Band Fees
Band fees are collected at the beginning of the school to avoid requesting payment for various items throughout the year, and because the material items covered are provided at the beginning of the year.

This fee covers: initial band t-shirt, contest entry fees (All-District, All-Region, UIL, North Texas Festival of Distinction, Epic Waters, adjudicator honorariums, binders, dividers, pencil pouches, 2 pencils & highlighter, meals throughout the year, field trips, and more!

This fee covers approximately 45% of the total cost spent per student throughout the year.
The GCISD Band Boosters' invite you and your family to a private event at NRH2O with your fellow band members and their families as we celebrate the start of a new band season!

6:00-9:00 pm

Location: NRH20 Family Water Park

$20 per person (enrolled band students and their family members welcome, no outside friends).
$10 season pass holders.

• Students are expected to remain at NRH2O unless they are leaving for the night with their designated ride.
• You may arrive later than 6:00 pm or leave earlier than 9:00pm.
• Please plan pick-up time accordingly to prevent the Band Directors and chaperones from waiting past 9:15pm for students to be picked up from the waterpark.
• Emergency Contact for parents: Please call NRH2O’s main office, and they will page a director. 817-427-6500
• Represent yourself, your family, and your school in the proper manner.
• No glass containers of any kind.
• Transportation will not be provided to or from the park through GCISD. Carpooling is recommended.
