Iran’s fundamentalist regime has been particularly anti-women and youth rights.
In the streets, women are constantly harassed for mal-veiling, and in jails, juveniles are continuously consigned to the gallows. Lawyers, journalists, and families of the prisoners are harassed by security forces and IRGC for their association with the accused and for defending them.
- We urge the UN to put pressure on the Iranian
regime to immediately stop executions and
release prisoners of conscience.
- We call on Western Governments to make
their relations with Iran conditional upon the
improvement of its human rights record.
