The first thing we will ask you to collect is info on relevant social media accounts for the academic major you are researching.

If other interns are researching the same field of study, please coordinate with them so you do not duplicate efforts. You can find interns focused on the same field in this doc:

Information on the Social Media Accounts You Research
For the academic major and social media platform you chose above, please find the fifty most important or popular social media accounts addressing that field of study.

There are two ways to submit info on the social media accounts you find.

METHOD 1: Via Google Sheet

You can submit content via a google sheet. This might be most convenient if you get info for multiple accounts at once, such as from ChatGPT (see instructions below on how to prompt ChatGPT). To submit accounts via a google file, do this:

Create a new google sheet file and paste in those headers

Name your file with this syntax:

Academic Majors Research - [field of study] - social media platform

for instance:

Academic Majors Research - biology - instagram

Make rtolmach@gmail.com the Owner as soon as you create the file.

Go to this Google sheet file:

Copy the headers from that file into your new file.

Check the box below indicating that you created the file and providing its name and URL.

METHOD 2: Via the form below, one at a time.

This might be most convenient if you find accounts individually.

Enter the social media accounts you find into the fields below, one at a time.

Then click the "Add Another" button to add another, up to 50.

When you want to submit more accounts (even with the same major and social media account), just start a new form.

You can start with the accounts you know and ones you find when you search, and then see who they follow.

HOW TO PROMPT CHATGPT:

You can also ask ChatGPT to do the first round of research for you, just to get you started. In that case, use a prompt like this (just change ARCHITECTURE to the major you are working on and INSTAGRAM to the platform you are researching):

Please provide me (in a format that I can copy and paste into a google sheet) with the following information on the 100 most popular or most prestigious INSTAGRAM accounts that focus on the field of ARCHITECTURE:

Name of social media account
Account owner (person or organization)
Complete URL of account
# of followers
URL of the account image (person or logo)
about 3 sentences about this account
