The Veterans Memorial project aims to unite the Compton community to create a meaningful and lasting tribute to our veterans. With contributions from community members, the memorial will serve as a place of reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by our service members. The memorial will be comprised of photos submitted by the families of veterans from Compton and the surrounding community who have passed away.

By submitting a photo to the Veterans Memorial Project, I hereby grant the Walker Family Events Foundation and the Howard Martin Richardson VFW Post 5394 the following rights:

Permission to Use: I authorize the Walker Family Events Foundation and the Howard Martin Richardson VFW Post 5394 to use the submitted photo and any accompanying biographical information in any manner they deem appropriate, including but not limited to public displays, online publications, promotional materials, and social media platforms.

No Compensation: I understand that I will not receive any monetary compensation for using the submitted photo and biographical information.

Ownership and Copyright: I affirm that I am the owner of the submitted photo or have obtained all necessary permissions from the owner of the photo to grant the rights described herein. I retain the copyright of the image but grant the Walker Family Events Foundation and the Howard Martin Richardson VFW Post 5394 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the photo as described above.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Walker Family Events Foundation and the Howard Martin Richardson VFW Post 5394 from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the submitted photo and biographical information, including any claims of infringement of intellectual property rights.
