  • Please upload a cover letter, CV, and the supplemental prompts described below in this form.  In your cover letter, please describe your interests in psychology, what you hope to gain from the internship, and what drew you to CBC.

Additionally two (2) letters of recommendation will need to be sent. One letter should be from someone who can speak to your skills, strengths and experiences outside the classroom setting. Please provide the letter of recommendation link to your reference. Letter of Recommendation They will upload the letter directly.

Please answer these 2 supplemental prompts in about 200 words per question.

    1. Diagnostic labels can offer clients relief, direction, and access to care — but they can also feel reductive or stigmatizing. Describe a time (in your coursework, research, outside activities or personal life) when you saw a diagnostic label help or hinder someone's understanding of themselves.

    2. Clinical psychology asks practitioners to understand people whose backgrounds, values, or life experiences may differ substantially from their own. What is one assumption or blind spot you suspect you'll need to actively work against in the future, should you become a therapist, enter the medical field or work in the educational space.

All personal statements, essays, and writing samples must be your original work. You cannot use artificial intelligence (AI) tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, or automated writing assistants—to draft, rewrite, or polish any part of your submission. We want to read your authentic voice and ideas.
