St. George Greek School, “Kosmas O Aitolos” is preparing for a very productive 2026-2027 academic year. We would like to welcome you back on our first day of classes on September 12, 2026.

As is our Orthodox tradition every year our beloved Father Chrysanthos Kerkeres and Father Joseph-Hector Abouid will bless us all with the Holy Sacrament of Agiasmos on the first day.

We sincerely thank you for your commitment to Greek Orthodox education. A strong home–school connection is essential to our students’ growth, and we deeply value the role of parents in this partnership. We count on your active participation in the life of our Greek School throughout the year, as well as your cooperation with our principal, teachers, and the St. George Education Committee.

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year—scheduling teachers, organizing curriculum, developing lesson plans, and ordering educational materials—it is very important that we know the number of students at each level. For this reason, we kindly ask that you complete your child’s registration information by July 1, 2026, and 30% of the total tuition payment. Your timely registration helps us provide the best learning experience for all students. Families registering by July 1, 2026, will receive a discount of $100. No further discounts will be offered.

Schedule.

The Greek School schedule for each Saturday is as follows:

9:00AM - 12:30PM: Greek School Classes
12:30PM - 1:30PM: Optional - HOPE/JOY & Bitty Basketball
Note: Lunch free of charge will be served to students participating in the HOPE/JOY & Bitty Basketball ministries.

Under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Chrysanthos and Fr. Joseph, along with the direction of our Principal k. Jinie Papaioannou, St George Greek Orthodox Church considers its Greek School as an equally essential ministry in importance with the teaching ministry of our Orthodox faith and makes every effort to keep the cost to a minimum while offering the best possible education of any Hellenic School.

Thus, as a family, we work together to realize our goals: how to best educate our children and keep them close to and active in our Greek Orthodox faith and traditions.

Grade Levels

Grade levels for this school year will be organized as follows: Pre‑K–Kindergarten, 1st–6th Grade, and 7th–12th Grade. Students will be placed into levels based on their language ability, ensuring that each child receives instruction appropriate to their skills and learning needs.

Students entering the school in Pre‑K must be at least 3½ years old by September 1.

The Greek School schedule for the 2026-2027 school year will be 9am 12:30pm. HOPE/JOY and Bitty Basketball will be offered from 12:30-1:30pm each Saturday, on Greek School days. Participation in this program is optional and at no extra charge. Lunch will be offered to all students participating in the HOPE/JOY-Bitty Basketball program, free of charge. To help us plan, please indicate below if, at this time, you are planning on having your student(s) participate in the HOPE/JOY-Bitty Basketball program.

Being on time is essential for fostering learning and school operation. Classes start promptly at 9:00 am. If you arrive late, your child will miss part of the instruction and ongoing activities, and there is a disruption to the class already in progress. Excessive, habitual tardiness (+10 minutes) and/or leaving early (-15 minutes) will also have an impact on attendance; three tardies equal one absence.

Do you authorize your child’s name and likeness, whether photographed or videotaped, to be used in print, on the St. George Greek Orthodox Church website, or in any other social media, provided the purpose of such use is for the promotionor benefit of the St. George Greek School.

Do you authorize your child/my children to receive Holy Communion when attending Divine Liturgy. Attendance to Divine Liturgy may be planned (included in Greek School calendar) or unplanned (based on Feast Days that fall on a Saturday)

Partial Payment: If you would like to pay only 50% now, and the rest by December 31st, enter coupon code "PARTIAL", and you will only be charged for 50% of the amount now. We will email you for the remaining 50%.
