Haidee and Gareth are taking expressions of interest from students who would like to do the Supercommunicators workshop in 2025.
Supercommunicators is a Flinders developed group 2-session workshop, inspired by the book Supercommunicators by Charles Duhigg that teaches six essential communication skills.
Throughout the two sessions, you’ll explore six essential skills that supercommunicators use to build better connections, lead meaningful conversations, and foster positive interactions:
- Prepare for the conversation – Learn how a little preparation can turn a casual chat into a productive, engaging conversation.
- Ask open-ended questions – Discover how to invite deeper responses and richer interactions.
- Get deep – Move beyond surface-level exchanges by encouraging emotional vulnerability and real dialogue.
- Match the other person’s mood and energy – Develop emotional intelligence by aligning with the other person’s emotional state.
- Prove you are listening – Practice active listening skills that help build trust and rapport.
- Find common ground – Strengthen connections by identifying shared interests and experiences.
By completing this form you are expressing your interest to attend Supercommunicators (if it fits with your schedule) when the 2025 dates and times are announced.
One of the facilitators (Gareth) will be in contact with all who express interest, once we have enough students to go ahead with the workshop.
