Internal inspections are regularly conducted to assess the compliance to specifications and quality standards.
Below is a list of the criteria which will be assessed:
- GRASS LENGTH: Has grass been mowed to an acceptable height?
- EVENNESS OF CUT: Has grass been mown with a uniform finish with no missed areas?
- LINE TRIMMING: Edging or brush cutting must be carried out wherever turf adjoins garden edges, pathways and or other hard surfaces in a way to ensure turf presentation is high.
- SITE BLOWN DOWN: Clippings, vegetation and other debris shall be blown from all hard surfaces including publicamenities, paved areas, footpaths, gutters drainage waterways and roads
- LITTER/SHREDDED LITTER: Is the site free from litter, waste, or green waste?
- CLIPPINGS DISTRIBUTED: Have grass clippings been evenly distributed over whole mown area?
- HERBICIDE APPLICATION: All weeds within tree beds including street trees and park trees / pavement crack / playground soft fall areas (where permitted) shall be treated with herbicide.
