  • Wilderness Medics has completed another sucessful year. We appreciate each of you for being a part of the Wilderness Medics Team.

    As we look to the 2026 season, please take a few minutes to let us know if you plan to be available for deployments and to reserve your spot at our annual training events.

    We are offering RT-130s including Arduous Work Capacity Tests, RHOVA UTV trainings, and S-130 Field Days at three locations through out the West.

    The training events have limited class sizes so sign up early to secure your spot.

    If you have already completed this form, there is no need to do it again.

  • You are welcome to attend the refresher/UTV training or S130 field day without committing to deploying.

  • Are you planning on attending a Wilderness Medics training event?*

  • Please do not sign up for an RT-130 AND an S-130. The S-130 is for those new to deploying in a wildland setting and includes the AWCT (Arduous Work Capacity Test)

    Also, we canot deliver a UTV traning AND an S-130 field day on the same date due to time constrains. You will need to sign up for separate days for these.

    The S-130 is only taken 1 time- For the First year it satisfies the requirment for the RT-130.

    Once you have an S-130 you must take the RT-130 each year to maintain your wildland fire qualifications.

    If you do not currently hold a RHOVA certificate BEFORE training you MUST go to https://cbt.rohva.org/ and complete the RHOVA E-course. Please send the certificate to hr@wildernessmedics.com once the course has been completed.

  • We are approaching training a little different this year by encouraging everyone to get UTV trained to maximize deployment opportunities and by implementing a fee for the trainings. The rates are as follows:

    RT-130 w/AWCT (pack test) and ROHVA UTV training: $100 

    RT-130 w/AWCT (pack test): $75 

    S-130 field day w/AWCT (pack test) and ROHVA UTV training: $150 

    S-130 field day w/AWCT (pack test): $120

    ROHVA UTV Training ONLY: $45 

    The $75 fee associated with the WMI RT-130 class will be reimbursed on your 1st deployed paycheck in 2026!
