BAY AREA/LA FIRE RELIEF DONATIONS
  • BAY AREA/LA FIRE RELIEF DONATIONS

  • Dear Friends in the Bay -

There are no words to describe the heartbreak of the ongoing LA fires. So many houses, schools, and businesses have been destroyed, and people displaced it is impossible to imagine the full extent of the damage to homes and lives.

The next years are going to be filled with hard choices and anxiety as everyone pushes through. It’s more important than ever that we reach out and give a helping hand to everyone suffering to help soften the blow.

To aid fire victims who have been displaced and lost their homes, Studio Michael Hilal, House of Honey’s Soft Landing Project, California Home & Design Magazine, Make It Home Bay Area, Adam Hunter and LACANDO are partnering together to donate essential furnishings. We would love for you to join us!

Our coalition is gathering lightly used and new furniture and home accessories from our Bay Area design community to be distributed by organizations on the ground in Los Angeles. We are currently devising a schedule of pick-up points in the coming days to gather these items. They will then be transported to Southern California and distributed through LACANDO and the Soft Landing Project.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form, and we will update you on ongoing logistics. Click HERE if you are interested in volunteering with us. As a community and a state, we are stronger together! We look forward to working together to help families start to rebuild.

    We love you, LA!
