About the Scholarship:

Lotus Bakersfield Corp and United Way of Central Eastern California proudly announce a unique opportunity that will provide students with the opportunity to refine their artistic skills under the guidance of world-renowned mariachis. The 4th Annual Festival del Mariachi is devoted to enhancing the lives of approximately 350 local mariachi students. This dynamic festival will feature beginner, intermediate, and advanced mariachi music workshops, culminating in an unforgettable concert.

United Way of Central Eastern California is proud to offer scholarships designed to provide financial assistance to a select number of students who wish to attend the festival's workshops but may face financial barriers.

Eligibility:
- Open to all mariachi students in high school or younger.
- Must demonstrate a passion for mariachi music and a desire to grow musically.
- Must be available to attend the Festival del Mariachi student workshops.
- Must demonstrate a financial need.
