We are filling two teams at all age groups!!

We will also need additional volunteers and parent coaches at practice or sideline.

Please indicate if you'd be willing to help volunteer with media, gameday logistics (water, tents, snacks), communication, team mom etc.

Registration Deadline: Aug 14, 2025 or until Full.

If you live outside of Salado area please contact Scott Law (512) 705-8118 prior to registering.

As of 2025 Season Salado Youth Football will be a Soft-Shell Helmet Cover Team. All players will be required to wear a Guardian Soft-Shell Helmet Cover for all practice and game play to help reduce injury and harm. The NFL has approved Guardian Helmet covers for game play as well.

Registration Fee:

$210 for tackle, includes new Guarian Soft-Shell Helmet Cap,

$165 for tackle, if reusing Guardian Cap

$100 for flag and cheer

No refunds

Player Responsiblity: Practice football pants, any Practice jersey, Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Mouth Piece, Cleats. (We have some limited loaner equipment available on a first come/first serve basis) Rental equipment is available through VIKNSPORT.com out of Round Rock, TX.

Mandatory Skills Day: July 26

First Practice: July 28
Practice Schedule: Monday & Wednesday evenings, Time TBD
Practice Location: Salado Youth Football Association Practice Field (Field of Dreams)
Weigh In/First Scrimmage: August - Details to follow

LEAGUE INFORMATION

Games will be played at High School turf fields. There will be no gate fees charged at any field. ~8 game season and playoffs for top 6 teams with a Superbowl on Nov 22.

Season: August 30 through November 22, 2025 (superbowl)

Game Field Location: Home Games @ Salado Turf

During our home games we will need parent volunteers to help with chains.

WAIVER & RELEASE
In consideration of being allowed to participate with Salado Youth Football Association, I hereby release and covenant not to sue Salado Youth Football Association, its Board of Directors, paid workers, game officials, and any coach of any team participating in the Salado Youth Football Association league from any and all present and future claims resulting from ordinary negligence on the part Salado Youth Football Association, or others listed for property damage, personal injury, permanent disability, or wrongful death, arising as a result of my engaging in or receiving instruction while participating in the Football Season activities incidental thereto, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur. Salado Youth Football Association is not responsible for any injury (or loss of property) to any person suffered while participating or in any other way involved in the Football Season for any reason whatsoever, including ordinary or gross negligence on the part of, Salado Youth Football Association. I hereby voluntarily waive any and all claims resulting from ordinary negligence, both present and future, that may be made by me, my family estate, heirs, or assignees. Further, I understand that football and cheer are vigorous team sports involving severe cardiovascular stress and physical contact and also certain risks, both known and unknown. In addition, I understand that participation in the football season involves activities incidental thereto, including but not limited to, travel to and from the site of the activity. I am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of the danger involved and hereby agree to accept any and all inherent risks of property damage, personal injury or death. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salado Youth Football Association and others listed, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any and all claims arising as a result of my engaging in or participating in the Football Season activities incidental thereto, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur. I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of Texas, and agree that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder of the waiver will continue in full legal force and effect. I further agree that the venue for any legal proceeding shall be in Texas. I affirm that | am of legal age and am freely read form and fully understand that by signing this form I am giving rights and/or remedies which may be available to me for ordinary negligence of Salado Youth Football Association or any affiliated parties.

In case of a medical emergency arises while participating in the programs, permission is given for staff personnel, including coaches, trainers, or their designees to seek medical help. Permission is given to physicians to perform needed treatment. The sports league agrees to contact you as soon as possible, if the medical emergency involves my minor child.
