PGFC Members General Code of Conduct

• Act within the rules and spirit of your competition.
• Promote fair play over winning at any cost.
• Encourage and support opportunities for people to learn appropriate behaviours and skills.
• Support opportunities for participation in all aspects of the club.
• Treat each person as an individual.
• Show respect and courtesy to all involved with the club.
• Respect the rights and worth of every person, regardless of their age, race, gender, ability, cultural background, sexuality or religion.
• Respect the decisions of officials and administrators.
• Display appropriate and responsible behaviour in all interactions.
• Display responsible behaviour in relation to alcohol.
• Act with integrity and objectivity, and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions.
• Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a safe environment.
• Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a harassment-free environment.
• Do not tolerate abusive, bullying or threatening behaviour.
• Agree to the policies, procedures and rules of the Palmerston Game Fishing Club.

PGFC Outing Waiver

The Palmerston Game Fishing Club Inc. (PGFC) trusts that all participants enjoy the Club Outings however the PGFC, the Organising Committee, Officials and Volunteers (together all referred to as the Organisers) accept no responsibility either collectively or individually, should loss or damage to property, or an injury or death to a person occur. All participants attend at their own risk. 

1. I acknowledge and agree that, in the event of me or my passengers suffering, loss or damage to property, injury or death arising out of our participation in the Club Outing event and all related activities conducted by the Organisers, my acceptance of the terms of this document as attested by my signature below will prevent my heirs, executors, administrators and/or assigns from making any claim in respect of loss or damage to property, injury or my death.
2. I also agree, on behalf of both myself and my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, that I will forever release and discharge each and every Organiser, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors and contractors from all actions, suits, claims, demands, causes of action, costs and expenses, legal, equitable, under statute and otherwise, and all other liabilities of any nature (whether or not the parties, were or could have been aware of them) which I may at any time have in any way related to or arising out of or in connection with my participation in the PGFC Outing or related activities.
3. I agree that the above release may be pleaded as a bar to any claim brought in any court or tribunal.
4. I agree on behalf of both me and my passengers, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to indemnify and forever hold harmless the Organisers, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors and contractors from all matters referred to in the release above, including with limitation all legal costs incurred in the defence of any such matter.
5. I acknowledge that the Organisers reserve the right to terminate the participation of any individual in their absolute discretion. 

WITH REGARD TO INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY 

1. I agree that at all times I will take reasonable care for my own safety and the safety of my passengers, other participants, the Organisers and others. 
2. I will listen attentively to all instructions given by the Organisers, and I will diligently always follow such instructions. If I fail to do so the Organisers may immediately terminate my participation in the event or related activity. 
3. I agree to and will abide by the rules and conditions as set out in each club outing I nominate to attend. 

Single Membership

Single membership is for those with only ONE adult on the membership form.   If you are a single parent, children are still listed and classed as PGFC junior anglers; however it is classed as a single membership as there is only ONE adult.

If you are a single adult, there are no partners listed.

Pensioner Single Membership

Pensioner Single membership is for those with only ONE adult on the membership form and who are on a pension of some form. You may be asked to provide your pension card at the time of submitting your membership form to validate.

If you are a single parent, children are still listed and classed as PGFC junior anglers; however it is classed as a single membership as there is only ONE adult. If you are a single adult, there are no partners listed.

Family Membership

Family membership is for those with TWO adults on the membership form. Each adult will receive their own membership number. This membership is for TWO adults no children or TWO adults and children. Children must be under the age of 18 years to fall under a family membership.

Pensioner Family Membership

Pensioner Family membership is for those with TWO adults on the membership form and who are on a pension of some form. You may be asked to provide your pension card at the time of submitting your membership form to valid. This membership is for TWO adults no children or TWO adults and children. Children must be under the age of 18 years to fall under a family membership.

Social Membership

Social members are individual memberships (not family) with no voting rights. These memberships entitle patrons to use the club facilities for a 12 month period more than the legislated non-member 3-entry only sign in process.

Social memberships are entitled to happy hour drink prices on Friday evenings, however are NOT entitled to earn club points or participate in the weekly member badge draw. Social memberships can attend club member only outings, however are not entitled to attain club points as would a full financial member.  Persons under the age of 18 who are social members are NOT classed as PGFC junior anglers.
