This program is for swimmers who have completed Level 6 and are ready to move from mastering skills to applying them, whether that's preparing for lifeguarding, training competitively, or teaching water safety to others.
What you'll learn
- Swim all competitive strokes with advanced efficiency, endurance, and pacing
- Perform rescue-ready water safety skills, including towing and assists
- Lead small-group swim activities and model proper stroke mechanics
- Build structured workouts using interval training and goal setting
- Explore pathways in lifeguarding, instruction, and competitive swimming
- Develop the confidence and discipline to go from swimmer to mentor, coach, or safety leader
Who should apply
Adults (18+) who have completed Learn-to-Swim Level 6, or who can swim all strokes over extended distances with good stamina, perform advanced survival skills and basic dives, and bring the maturity and focus expected of an aquatic leader.
Where it leads
Graduates leave with the skills, fitness, and leadership experience to pursue lifeguard or instructor certification, join competitive programs, or simply stay strong and confident in the water for life.

- Feb–May: Mon/Wed 6:00–7:00 PM
- Jun–Sep: Mon/Wed 6:00–7:30 PM
- Oct–Jan: Mon/Wed 7:30–8:30 PM
- Year-round: Sundays 9:00–9:45 AM

Good to know
Swimming is strenuous, low-impact exercise that rewards patience, self-discipline, and consistent attendance. Medical forms will be sent after you register. No photos, videos, or recordings are allowed in the pool area without prior written consent from management.
