IDS Irish Dock Plunge

Horizon = A game that measures the distance a dog can jump from the dock.

Eclipse = A game where the toy is suspended over the pool, at different distances, and the dog is required to knock the toy down.

Velocity = A game that records the time it takes for a dog to retrieve a toy at the end of the pool.

Rounds are $22.00 for pre-registration and $24.00 on the day of the event.

Dogs must be at least 6 months old to compete in dock diving games.

Dogs must appear in good health and physically be able to enter and exit the pool/dock safely.

No females in heat are permitted on the grounds.

Handlers must be at least 5 years old to be on the dock.

Handlers between 5 and 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the dock.

No pushing/blocking dogs off the dock. Dogs must jump by themselves.

All payments are non-refundable unless accompanied by a Veterinarian's or Doctor's note for the dog or handler listed.

All dogs should be up to date on veterinarian-recommended vaccinations or titers. You may be asked for a copy at this event. Please have them readily available.

Dogs are permitted to wear flat collars, life jackets, and swim vests, as long as they do not pose a safety hazard. Life vests are available on site.

Choke chains, prong collars, and e-collars are not allowed on the dock. These tools may be used to walk your dog to the dock and through the first entrance gate, but must be removed at the entrance. You may put them back on at the exit gate before leaving.

Triple Play Dog Sports staff and volunteers reserve the right to excuse any handler at any time for any reason, including misconduct, unsportsmanlike behavior, or inappropriate treatment of dogs or people.

The judge's decision is final.

Potty your dog before going on the dock! If your dog pees, marks, poops, or vomits on the dock or pool, clean it up and let a staff member know right away.

Dogs not using the pool must be on leash or in a crate. You are responsible for actively supervising and managing your dog on the property.

No retractable leashes are permitted on the grounds.

No food or treats are allowed on the dock during competitions.

Event registration is handled by each individual facility, not IDS. Contact your dock for their registration process, procedures, and facility-specific rules.

Pick up after your dog’s waste. There is a metal bin for you to dispose of your dog's poop.

Pick up after yourselves. Please use the trash bins located throughout the facility.

Barking is allowed, but excessive barking should be under your control. If your dog is barking excessively or cannot be quieted, you may be asked to remove your dog from the training field and secure them in your vehicle.

 In consideration of being permitted to participate in an International Dog Sports, LLC., Triple Play Dog Sports, and Country Road Canines, LLC. event (“Event”), the above signed Owner releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue International Dog Sports, LLC., Triple Play Dog Sports, and Country Road Canines, LLC. (collectively referred to herein as the “Facility”), including their owners, members, directors, employees, and volunteers for any damage to their person or property resulting from any accident or incident at the Event.

The Owner agrees that the Facility holding the Event has the right to refuse entry for any cause which the Facility shall deem sufficient.

Assumption of Risk:
Participation in the Event carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary from one Event to another, but the risks range from 1) minor injuries such as scratches, bruises, and sprains; 2) major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions; 3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death, and 4) injury to personal property including their pet.

I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand, and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in the Event. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless:
I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD International Dog Sports, LLC., and the Facility (Country Road Canines, LLC and Triple Play Dog Sports) HARMLESS from all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Event and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.

Severability:
The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of Ohio and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

International Dog Sports, LLC. and the Facility (Country Road Canines, LLC and Triple Play Dog Sports) are not responsible for any errors on the entry form or any errors made by International Dog Sports, LLC. or the Facility.

Photos:
I grant International Dog Sports, LLC., and the Facility (Country Road Canines, LLC and Triple Play Dog Sports), and their affiliated companies, representatives, sponsors, the right to license, reproduce, distribute, and display all photographs, videos, and digital images of myself and my dog at the Event.

Acknowledgment of Understanding:
I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

I acknowledge that the terms of this contract are a complete and final agreement between myself, International Dog Sports, LLC., and the Facility (Country Road Canines, LLC and Triple Play Dog Sports), and is to be construed under California and Ohio law.

Entry Fees: Pre-registration fees are $22.00 (+ processing fee) per round.  Pre-registration ends on Monday, March 2nd, at 11:59pm.  Fees are $24/round after March 2, 2026.

A 3.5% processing fee has been added to the price/round.

Payment Options: Choose Option #1 to pay in full for expedited check-in on the day of the event, or select Option #2 to make a minimum required deposit to reserve your rounds and pay the remaining balance later.

Registration balances are due by check-in on the day of your reserved rounds. 

Participants with unpaid balances will not be permitted to jump. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure all fees are paid in full before participating in this event. 

Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable unless accompanied by a veterinarian’s or doctor’s note for the dog or handler listed. Deposits are non-refundable.
