        Welcome to the new Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC) online process to participate in the LACC rental program. This also allows the staff to process and respond quickly to requests. This form will provide you with vital information needed to have a successful year of renting your home. The information provided includes a how-to guide, access to the community, Fees & Fines and the rules that must be followed. This will also provide LACC with information on your preferences for who will be managing your rental and occupancy limits you feel are appropriate for your home.

    Definitions:

    ·         Member: Owner of LACC property

    ·         Renter: Any person who rents a property inside LACC for any length of time 

    ·         Short-term renter or STR: 30 days or less ($100 per week, cap of $200)

    ·         Seasonal renter or SR: 31 – 179 days ($100 per month)

    ·         Long-term renter or LTR: 180 days or more ( no charge)

     

    Steps to complete this process: 

    Members:

    1. Read, complete, sign and submit this Annual Rental Access Permit Application. This form must be filled out by all members who will be renting out their home at any time during the calendar year.

    2. Pay the Access Permit fee

    3. Once the application is approved you will be notified via email. The email will include the information on this form which you can share with your designated representative and for your records.

        Before each rental stay begins:
    ·   Please ensure that you have a copy of the Member Handbook, Renter Handbook and Fees & Fines available for the renters to read upon their arrival.

    ·   Create a guest pass on myQ for your guests to gain electronic entry through the Clifford Guest Gate.

    ·   NOTE: All forms must be completed and approved by staff before access may be granted to a renter.

        After each rental stay ends:
    ·   The appropriate fees and fines will be charged to your member account and should be paid promptly.

     
     
     Renters:

    1.  Read, complete, sign and submit the Renter Registration Application online at https://lakealmanorcountryclub.com/renter/. This form needs to be filled out by every renter before the rental period begins.

    2.  Once the rental application is approved by LACC we will send the renter and you or your designated representative an email advising you of the approval.

  • Rules

  • The list below are the primary rules regarding renting your home.

    *This is not a complete list of all details regarding rentals. For a complete list of rules please see the Member Handbook: Rules and Regulations and Fees & Fines available on our public website and on your owner portal (FrontSteps/HOAMCO) app.

    Members:

    ·         Members are required to complete this form, pay the associated fee, and receive approval prior to renting your home.

    ·         The appropriate fees and fines will be charged to your member account and should be paid promptly.

    ·         Please ensure that you have a copy of the Member Handbook, Renter Handbook and Fees & Fines available for the renters to read upon their arrival.

    ·         Members are responsible for informing all renters about LACC rules and regulations and are responsible for all renters’ actions.

    ·         Maximum occupancy limit (set by members) and maximum vehicle occupancy limit (verified by Security) must not be exceeded. Renters guest number is limited by these two maximums.

    ·         Members must designate a real estate agent, family, friend, neighbor or self who will be available to handle any issues that may arise while a renter is staying at LACC.

    ·         Members who falsely register a renter as a guest will be charged the applicable fees and may be fined.

     

    Renters:

    ·         Renters should have the property address and name of the member or designated representative.

    ·         They will need to provide this information to gate staff upon arrival.

    ·         25 MPH or less at all times (photo radar, and radar enforcement used).

    ·         No dogs allowed.

    ·         No use of any golf carts, off highway vehicles (OHV’s), snowmobiles or dirt bikes are allowed.

    ·         No recreational vehicles or camping are allowed.

  • Access

  • How to grant access to your renter:

    Short-term (STR) and seasonal renters (SR) must have an electronic entry code issued by you or your designated representative after the rental registration is complete. The renter will need to enter through the Clifford Gate when they first arrive to obtain their temporary paper pass which must be displayed at all times while they are inside LACC.

    Long-term renters (LTR) can purchase an RF tag or download the myQ app at no charge for unfiltered access after their rental registration is complete. They must also have an LTR sticker placed on their vehicle for the duration of their contract. Ask any Gate Attendant for detailed instructions on getting the myQ set up on your cellular device (App only works on IOS 17.0 or later and Android 10 and later).

    NOTE: 1.  All forms must be completed and approved by staff before access may be granted to a renter.

                 2. Any renter who comes in after hours must enter using their myQ pass but must return to Clifford Gate within 24 hours to obtain the appropriate pass.

  • Fees & Fines

  • Fees: What are the fees associated with renting your home?

    ·         Annual Rental Access Permit Fee: $300 per year

    ·         Short-term renters (STR): $100 per week with a cap of $200.

    ·         Seasonal renter (SR): $100 per month

    ·         Long Term Renter (LTR): No Charge

     

           Other fees:

    ·  Boat Tag for short-term renter: $125 per week for each CF number

    ·  Boat Tag for seasonal and long-term renter: $250 per year for each CF number

    NOTE: Any fee associated with renting your home is ultimately your (member) responsibility.

     

    Fines: What are the fines associated with renting your home?


    If a renter violates any rules and obtains a citation a fine may be assessed.

    NOTE: Any violation by a renter, and resulting on a fine, is ultimately the responsibility of you, the member.

     

    How do I pay my fees and fines?


    All fees will be added to your member account. You can pay fees at the administration office or online using your owner portal (FrontSteps/HOAMCO) app. Fine can be paid at Clifford Gate or Administrative Office via cash, check, or credit card.

    NOTE: Renters will no longer pay any fees or fines directly to LACC.

     

     Processing fees may apply when making a payment by credit card.
