    Register your quilt for the Lighthouse Quilt Guild Show (July 23–25, 2026)
  • Important Dates and Instructions

    • Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 30, 2026 
    • Early Bird Drawing: Submit by June 8, 2026
    • Quilt Drop-Off: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 4:30–6 pm & Wednesday, July 22, 8–10 am at Second Christian Reformed Church, 2021 Sheldon Road, Grand Haven
    • Show Dates: July 23–25, 2026 (Thurs & Fri 9 am–7 pm, Sat 9 am–3 pm)
    • Quilt Pick-Up: Saturday, July 25. Quilts will be available for pickup only once all quilts have been logged in and accounted for, and the transport truck is fully loaded. 

    Please pre-register each quilt with its own entry form and picture. Save this online form with your name and quilt name, e.g., "Wexall, Barb-Double Wedding Ring".  Click on Submit Registration to complete the submission. 

     

    The quilt label must be permanently attached. No rod pocket is necessary. Fold with the lower right corner of the front on top.

    Please note:  Lighthouse Quilt Guild and Quilt Show Management reserve the right to determine acceptance, placement, and display of the quilts.

    Volunteering

    Your volunteering is necessary for a successful quilt show; all ability levels are welcome.  A list of volunteer positions will be posted on the guild website and in upcoming newsletters and meetings.  Please get in touch with Wendy Rice, Volunteer Coordinator, with any questions (wendyrice49@gmail.com).

  • Entry Categories

    Large, Medium, and Small Quilts have the following quilting method subcategories:

    o   Movable Machine - Quilting predominantly completed on a movable quilting machine that allows the quilter to move the machine head rather than the fabric.

    o   Stationary Machine or Hand Quilting - Quilting predominantly completed on a stationary sewing machine that allows the quilter to move the fabric rather than the machine, or quilting predominantly completed by hand; any technique.

    Quilt Guild Challenge - 20" x 20"; must contain a Dresden Plate (or portion) within the quilt design.

    Art Quilt - Any technique, displaying innovative design and materials, using fabric as the primary medium.  Must consist of 3 layers (top, batting, backing) and have no hard frame or mounting.

    Quilted Wearables - quilted items that can be worn, either full outfits or individual pieces.

    Quilted Accessories - quilted items that can be carried, such as purses, totes, or backpacks.
